Science is fun. Many people have the impression that science is a difficult, boring subject, beyond the reach of most of us. One of the aims of the Science Department is to dispel this myth.
So, what is Science?
This is a general term covering the three main subjects Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Integrated with these main subjects comes health, sex education, environmental education and social development.

Pupils will be helped to acquire a progressive understanding of scientific ideas.
- To prepare pupils for coping in a modern, scientific and technological environment.
- Encourage concern about, and appreciation of, our environment.
