Save the Rainforest
Year 3's topic for the first half of the Spring Term has focused on the rain forest.
The children have learned about the plants and animals living in the rain forests and about the importance of protecting this delicate eco-system.
The class was so enthused about the issues involved that they created campaign posters and also each wrote a letter to our local MP, William Hague.
To conclude their study Col Guy Deacon came into school to give a presentation to the class. He shared his experiences of the African Rain Forest with the children and showed photographs and video footage of Mountain Gorillas in their natural habitat.
