Aysgarth's 1st XV Unbeaten
The sport department is on a roll as this year's 1st XV is the third team in five years to remain unbeaten since the School introduced rugby as a sport in 1910.
Taking on the best in the north and in Edinburgh, the 1st XV won more matches than ever before in a season.
Key victories were both 19-12 scorelines against St Mary’s Hall(Stonyhurst) and Cargilfield in Edinburgh and 10-5 against Witham Hall. 450 points were scored and only 105 conceded.
Captain Bevan Fawcett, Ethan Madronal and Oliver Rudd were selected for the North of England Prep School Barbarians side for their outstanding performances.
